In Spring 2014, in an effort to update the Ticket Blaster, It was integrated with the Oculus Rift. The Ticket Blaster was also modified to include the headset with special cameras that were used to show whoever was inside the Ticket Blaster on the monitors in the showroom. Here is B-Roll footage of the test by Groove Jones. The Dallas test started May 20, 2014 with the San Diego and Dallas tests testing ‘later that month’. According to another article 30 locations were planned. A commercial was also produced for this brief test. Not sure when it was cancelled but the interactive programs of the COL was cancelled in Fall 2014. So it’s likely the blaster was cancelled around then also
