is he like gone-gone? did bella replace him completely or is he still around? i haven’t seen any pasqually stuff in maybe a year now so i was curious
I mean they made that recent plush of him. Its also been stated stuff relating to the holiday special is (currently) separate from plans at actual CEC’s. If they wanted to fully get rid of him that’d be much more clear.
I think in the end they want Bella to take his spot for marketing, but they’re either begrudgingly keeping him around as he’s been integral to the prior brand identity, or they just know not to waste money on a character that won’t be as popular to kids as Bella can be.
that makes sense. I was just curious since I saw someone say that he had “left the band to focus on his pizzeria”, which sounds suspiciously like CEC trying to sweep him under the rug. thank you!

I know but they have Bella in more stuff than even Pasqually.
I do wonder if, after the “Pasqually’s Pizza and Wings” incident, they think the character’s a bit of a brand poison, a reminder of a blunder or something similar.

Thats likely. Pasqually in general is hard to integrate into the Current Concepts the Company has so I think after Pasqually’s was discontinued they just stopped caring as much about Pasqually. I honestly think Bella is more of a way to have a 5th band Member when Pasqually is used for a secondary role.

Pasqually has just never been used as much as the other characters in marketing, especially since the late 90s. It’s not a new thing, though the addition of Bella has made it a lot more noticeable.
