Yep, it’s here, one of the 100 stores closing soon will be Salisbury, MD (2300 N Salisbury Blvd). The Store is one of the last Thumb Chuck stores, being opened in 2004 right around the beginning of the 2005 Remodel Initiative.

Just want to remind everyone that when the Fandom started, MAJORITY of stores were Thumb Chuck Stores, and soon there will be 0. The End of the thumb Chuck Era is here.

Thanks for letting me know. I wish there was a chart or sheet like the every location one for which stores have what remodel.
Can anyone corroborate the 100 stores closing claim that seems like a massive deal.
I assumed it was correct as it’s been circling around the fandom for a bit. I’ll change it if it’s untrue though since the only evidence I have is the fandom and that could be wrong.
The first Instagram post also mentions it but I’m not sure if this means it came from an employee source or not.
Okay so I was told this has been the plan since last year, so I guess whatever stores have closed in the past bit are towards that tally. Its coming in waves it seems too with no deadline, so it doesn’t mean 100 close by end of year this could stretch a bit longer (or shorter maybe, 100 close tomorrow 
).

Then why would they even state ‘we’re closing 100 stores’ if there is no deadline?
They close 8 Corporate owned locations in 2025. Doesn’t seem like its amounting to much
Ok well I should clarify that a deadline is currently unknown by my source. Its probably end of 2026 if theres gonna be any meaning behind it

I think the big dead giveaway would be stores on reduced hours and all that crap
Actually only 5/12 Low Volume Store Initiative stores have closed so far, and I don’t know of any that have been added to the low hours list for 2026 (though also this isn’t as heavily reported on)
