I know the original portrait bot Jasper uses big smith brand overalls, but does anybody know what size or any measurements we have of him?
Im also currently studying portrait bot jasper specifically, so if anyone has any info about portrait bot jasper’s cosmetics that they’d be willing to share, id greatly appreciate it.
We don’t know the size of it unfortunetley,though the bot itself is I believe around 3 1/2 feet tall with the frame being about 4 feet.
As for the rest of the cosmetics his mask and hands are latex,his eyelids are cloth with a bent wire in it just like Pasqually’s,his banjo is a custom piece,his shirt and hat are likely also actual clothing pieces like the overalls…and Idk what else to say lol

That would actually be very helpful! Im pretty sure Kooser jasper’s cosmetics look easier to try and make as well.
@SmithAnimatronics Of course! Perhaps the most obvious difference is the fact that Kooser Jasper had buckteeth, just like he did in artwork of him.
(In my opinion, the Kooser animatronic having buckteeth made his appearance a bit disconcerting.)
Oooh. Interesting that they gave Kooser Jasper teeth, but not the winchester one.
I might honestly try my hand at figuring out Kooser jasper’s outfit instead of winchester’s, because the shirt looks a bit easier to find or make.
If you have any other info, i could totally use it, because i havent learned much about the kooser bots yet, and if i were to make his outfit, i’d like to try and make them as accurate as i can.
@SmithAnimatronics Absolutely! I actually know more about the mechanical differences between the Winchester and Kooser bots rather than their cosmetic differences, so if you don’t mind, I’ll throw those in, too.
Sure! I actually know nothing about the kooser’s mechs. I know they’re similar to winchester Gen 2 chuck and crusty, but thats about it.
@SmithAnimatronics I was reading the Cheese-E-Pedia article for V2 Winchester Chuck and found something incredibly interesting that I didn’t notice before. V2 Chuck had bushy black eyebrows, which V1 Chuck and Kooser Chuck did not have.
@SmithAnimatronics For Jasper specifically, his first two animatronics were drastically different mechanics-wise. Winchester Jasper had 5 independent movements (mouth, eyes blink, head turn left, strum, left paw slide) as well as a head turn right that made his body turn right with it. Kooser Jasper had 11 movements (mouth, eyes blink, eyes left, eyes right, head turn left, head turn right, head up, body turn left, body turn right, strum, left paw slide), all independent. In all, Kooser Jasper had 7 more movements than Winchester Jasper, giving him a wider range of expression, if you will.
I forgot to mention, Winchester Jasper had a fly attached to the tuning part of his banjo fretboard, Kooser Jasper didn’t.
So hypothetically, would it be difficult to replicate Kooser Jasper with modern technology?
I have a portrait frame, (that i think would be about the right size), that looks nearly identical to kooser jasper’s portrait.
Mechanically, replicating him might not be outright difficult, all that matters really is the placement and assembly of cylinders, valves, etc. to accurately replicate his precise movements. (I’ve never built or owned an animatronic, so I’m just going off of what I’ve heard and observed from people who have.)
Cosmetically, it may be a bit of a hike when it comes to physical features and fine details. Unlike his Winchester counterpart, Kooser Jasper’s eyelids were made of metal rather than fabric. Additionally, his mask and hands were composed of latex and fiberglass like practically all of the other early bots that had been made, with his muzzle being furred.
Would kids size overalls work for portrait jasper, or would they be too small? Idk how big he was, but i got some for free recently, and if it works it works i guess.
Neither of the Jasper’s had body turns their body was just free to rotate and it would move with the motion of the head turn

I think you should try them out. Given that the Winchester and Kooser bots were slightly smaller than Cybers (or look to be), those should work.
