Title says it all, I’ve been trying to hunt for high quality PTT Showtapes rips because I’m trying to make a archive of all the showtapes from “Showbiz buyout era” I’ve been mostly looking for 1988 Grammy awards and 1988 Summertime or any showtape from 1985-1989, I looked on archive.org but I couldn’t find a single “complete” showtape, can anyone give me suggestions of how to find these showtapes? Help would be appreciated!

Basically if it doesn’t exist on the decodedocdigitize archive.org account I run there is no current full rip of it. All of them were ripped by showbizpizza.com like 20 years ago split up and in not great audio quality. I’ve been doing what I can to compile all the new rips I can, and the link from Ceclife has been the biggest breakthrough in rips so far. Its still a very long way to go for a complete list however (but atleast we got 6 rips of beagles 3)
**** well actually to clarify my archive account is the best of full rips + signals. You’re gonna find a lot of rips of later SVHS shows or even master tapes by Gabe that are of OK quality (it was run through a VHS to DVD ripper so bleh). I don’t host any of those but the raw files are much better than anything on YouTube. The whole collection is like a terabyte or so of .iso files so good luck if you can find someone willing to send it over.

Okay thanks! Right now I’m going to try using a YouTube ripper and saving the showtapes that way, while they don’t have signals and are in lower quality it’s better then nothing.
