Ok so I don’t know who found this originally but I might aswell post it here.
Here is the original video
The BCJ stage part starts at 3:05
Now initially me and a few others thought this was footage of Morey’s show since the footage starts at Morey’s Pier in Wildwood. But both the trim of the stage and the year this was shot made it unlikely as the show was gone from Morey’s by this point and their stage had planks on the side, not a smooth stage.
So I did the only reasonable thing I could.Track this random family’s trip from 1987!
Trough the power of my inner RAINBOLT I analyzed every little detail in this video and determined the near exact route these people took
First they start off at Raging Waters located at Morey’s Pier,
Then after all that fun they stopped by a local motel.I’m not sure which it could be but that’s not important
After this they drive to Philadelphia there’s some really cool fish display across one of the buildings
Then they go down Saltwell Rd in Shinnston WV
Then they pass a LOT more road with signs which I can’t read or identify
Either way just by being on Saltwell they were already VERY clsoe to Monroe ohio which is where Americana is located, and of course they end up in the BCJ theater
SO YES this footage of the BCJ stage was shot at Americana! and is THE SECOND EVER pice of footage of this set EVER found
Now for the actual Bcj stuff
You can see the bottom of the stage and a chair.By this point the stage was still curved like in some early photos of Americana’s stage, unlike later on where it had a panel put in front to make it all one large stage when the bear show was removed.
You can also see Americana’s trim and a bit of the grass on stage!
In this shot you can faintly make out the Valance of the stage
I think this might be a poster?
There’s also a lot of creapy ass in the dark footage the family took of themselves
Here you can see the theater’s fire exit or entrance/exit
That rounds out all the BCJ footage stuff
So yeah as usual with this show we get NOTHING of the bots.Either way this is insanely cool to see!
