Thats Right, a New Previously unknown Atari Family Game Center has been uncovered. This one at the Northridge Shopping Center (796 Northridge Shopping Ctr; Which is the date I think is correct but if it’s not feel free to correct it) in Salinas California.
Thought I would make this it’s own post alongside something else soon since It’s way more interesting.

These ones are For Hire adverts. Same Store too, which is Insane since before these were uploaded to Newspapers.com we had no idea it existed. Also just to note these call it “Northridge” would could imply the Northridge location that has no address confirmed is actually the Northridge Shopping Center location in Salinas. Not confirmed but still.

Listed as a part of the selection. It is worth noting the location is still open by 1976.
BTW for anyone looking for this data if more if archived, type in ‘Atari Game Center’ and then go by 1970-1979.
Also @The-64th-Gamer The Northridge location isn’t real, it’s in Salinas on Northridge Drive. The original newspaper is from the Salinas location.
I heard about this before but never went into depth into it.

Atari Game Centers were space/tech themed mall arcades created by Atari in 1974. Several locations opened in the year but were closed by 1976 most likely due to the Warner buyout.
Interestingly these were the last project done by Nolan before Atari became part of Warner.
Interesting, I started to look into it a bit when I found out there used to be one in a mall nearby where I used to live.
