During the article wipe a few months back, we changed a lot of things about how location articles are made to use more parameters. This wasn’t only so we had more direct control on how they looked, but for future automation use!
Are you sick of when a store closes, having to update and change every single related article- the stage, the animatronic pages, ect? Well now those tables are auto-generated!
Pages with these new tables are ones with the tags “Animatronics”, “Stage Variations”, “Remodels & Initiatives”, and “Arcades & Attractions”.
Now of course the location pages aren’t filled out yet, these tables aren’t complete, and I’m allowing previous tables documenting stuff like how many 1-Stages were installed to remain up alongside the automated tables until everything is moved over, but the more locations we fill out, the more every other article will be filled out too! I’m excited to look at arcade pages and know exactly which stores they were found at.
Also this wasn’t directly announced, but you may have noticed at the bottom of articles they have an automated link that lets you immediately search the article title on the forums! This also indirectly lets me see what pages people are interested in, cause the main site has no view counter, but the forums have search statistics!
