This means this bot (Kooser’s Artie?) was a retrofit of the original plan, scrapped sometime before December 1979.

Artie was probably removed in Ogden during the 1983 remodel but may have Lasted longer.
Ogden was a time capsule of a location, so it’s possible that Artie survived a little while longer at that store. I’d still be shocked if that’s even true, but then again, it’s Ogden, the store that still had a Cyber Shelf in '91, so.

That explains why Kooser’s Artie had a nose tip. Always wondered why that was
(Disclaimer: i say this with the fact that, as of currently, i have no evidence or proof to back this up), but, one of my freinds on discord has a grandma that lived in the san jose area, and went to the local PTT’s with my friend’s dad frequently.
My freind was “interviewing” her to see what she remembered about the animatronics, and when he got to Artie, she did remember him, but with quote “big teeth and rhinestone glasses”
she also distinctly remembered him singing the song “i’ve been loving you”, which i later found out was an Elton John song.
Once again, i currently have literally no proof of this other than what my freind has told me, but i did find it interesting that Elkton potentially got installed.

It’s pretty much guaranteed that Kooser’s Artie is a retrofit of the Elkton John bot(since it was the first and just my looking at it) so this is not ENTIRELY out of the question.It would be incredible if true!
