so many of these sellers on ebay love to jack up the prices as much as they can and i get it— you have an old doll that could easily go for up to 50 bucks, that’s easy money. but what i dont get is jacking it up so high. i don’t want to buy a possibly fake doll for hundreds of dollars. it’s just so greedy imo. anyways this was just a tiny rant and i wanted to get other people’s perspectives on it :-)))
CEP does support tracking prices over time, its just users have to maintain that themselves. I got some examples though:
yea it’s low-key mainly about human greed and not the actual merch imo.
My examples are:
1988 Large Chuck E. Cheese plush
1986 Football Chuck E. figurine
Showbizpizza .com used to have a decent price guide, but it hasn’t been updated in forever so it’s kind-of a moot point to bring up. However, it could possibly be a good starting point?
better to just check ebay right now for any sort of price expectation, inflation has gotten crazy on cec/spp collectables since covid
I don’t know but I couldn’t even reach out to the Webmaster for the site for it to be updated!
Okay I’m just now reading this, if you want like the actual prices that they were sold in store then you’ll need to find old archival pictures of the prize counter or prize listenings. If you mean regarding Ebay. If you mean anything. What do you mean? Complaining about human-greed while also wanting a website to determine the value of old cec stuff, is an oxymoron.
I guess you’re right lol. I was talking about how people have been selling older chuck E cheese plushies for at least 75-150 dollars and wanted there to be a way where we could determine the value of them over time
