A giant scan collection has been released by firestarteraussie, and by giant, I mean the scans are SUPER DENSE!
This consists of a bunch of merch of PTT/SPP/CEC/Charlie Cheese’s, but more importantly, THE 1980 PRESS KIT THAT SOLD ON EBAY!
There is only 155 images, but this is almost 6gb of high quality scans, but let me tell you, WORTH IT! The photos included within the documents reveal so much more info at this resolution, check out these previews and go download the full thing!
They will be converted with fixed orientation and some cropping and put on CEP, but its taken 5 hours to only get through 25 of the images so this may be a few days.
Best example is this image. We’ve had this image, big woop, NO! LOOK HOW CLOSE WE CAN GET!
Another example! ^ This is so high res we can basically use the carpet as a texture and identify all the arcades!
WE CAN EVEN SEE- THE POSTER IN THE BACK! It looks like a walkaround photo, is this the elusive picture of Chuck with President Carter?
We can also identify 2 new Fantasy Forest signs!
Here’s an amazing scan of the Kooser balcony taken from a newspaper clipping! I’m telling you if we’ve had a scan from like showbizpizza.com or some rando, we do not have the full quality and context. Everything needs to be brought in under a microscope, we cannot settle for dogshit.
We even get scans of a The Pizza Times issue! I would kill to have the rest Travis owns scanned in this quality, you can see EVERYTHING!
Even the itty bitty character art is good enough to be vectorized!
