Another collection of stuff has released from Gene Landrum’s archives! Above is new pics of Raleigh, NC (4339 Falls of the Neuse Rd).
Next is a new collection of drawings from Bob Flemate of unused or early iterations of characters. Notably Bob Flemate has an article where ‘Foxy Farrah’ is referenced in December of 1978, which may date these drawings a bit closer.
Next are some misc photos, some only vaguely shown. Did my best to crop and skew them back into position. The Helen is specifically Huntington Beach’s. The article that mentions ‘Moose John’ is also from August 1979, so these promotional photos likely originate from late 1979.
Next we have some documents which look to be from the PTT Basic Ordering Agreement, which is generally just the book that Gene has on his early ideas but is more a collection of documents. Notably Gene’s business plan now has a proper date of August 30th, 1976.
Next is a collection of concept characters from Kathy Hopps! None of them have listed names or dates.

Update,Tyler’s suspicious early Helen/Artie eyes now 99% sure it’s this Helen, check the large dark blue streak on the right side

Hate how low res they’ve released them, gatekeeping the actual raw pictures just like they did the Winchester and Kooser ones before I leaked them.

I think there is a thing in this fandom where so many people will try and ‘claim’ archived stuff as their own, even though they don’t own a 45 year old picture of a building that hasn’t been a CEC for decades. Like Travis specifically I think seems to think He works as some sort of ‘leader’ of the Fandom, even though He hasn’t been directly active in it for years.
It could be ego, it could be greed, it could be ignorance, idk. sorry for this long rant but I honestly just don’t understand why gatekeeping is so common.

That’s why I’ve marked everything as being from Gene. Gene is the one who actually owns these items and kept them this long. Its a disservice to turn what should be a single day upload into just stretching out single pictures over months, some appearing in compressed YouTube videos while others in compressed Facbook posts. They still haven’t said what isn’t released and have given no timeline for it.
