In the early 2010s, I was an occasional visitor via an afterschool program of a Chuck E. Cheese location near the town of Ocala, FL, and I remember being inordinately fond of a physical “test of skill” style arcade machine that I now recognize as ‘Crossbow master’ from the wiki. Are any known photos of this machine available?
Here’s a Video Showcasing it. It was to my knowledge installed as part of the standard 2005 Remodel game Package though It could have been first used in 2003 as well.
Interesting to see that it was directly branded by CEC, despite not visibly using any of their characters or franchised IP. I wonder if you’d legally be able to acquire one for commercial use elsewhere? (just a thought, not an actionable thing.)
For What I Found only CEC installations had the Chuck E Cheese branding, while the regular version just had text. I even found an really old looking site with a seemingly older version of the Game.
So Owning the Game would be fine.
Given the tours I’ve seen its still around at a lot of locations, I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to find one in the wild.
Hopefully with next month setting the wiki to document arcades there will be a more complete page of it available soon.
