CEC: What to Expect for 2026

Made a video going over what CEC’s plans generally are for 2026 based on past and recent PR moves. It’s also a good refresher for anyone unsure exactly what position the brand is in right now.

This company feels like multiple companies that all exist together in one brand for some reason. Like, it’s a famous electronic based FEC chain with international locations, a growing community, and Retro appeal, and CEC has done nothing besides Chucks Arcade that works with that. I honestly think that if CEC doesn’t go bankrupt, it will have to phase out 2.0 somehow, whether that be bringing back animatronics, a new Live show concept, or something worse IDK.

That would cost too much money for CEC...

Yeah, I think it’s sort of a problem CEC doesn’t really have a good way of answering. Though they decided to open Adventure World so it doesn’t seem like they care much about spending thousands on slop, so spending money on something useful even if it destroys the company isn’t out of the picture.

Sounds like they are heading to the end as we know it.

And I hope they will add chuck e. cheese family fun center with indoor go karts, indoor mini golf, buffet and more.

While I think thats a lot, and probably too much for most locations, I think a miniature fun zone, similar to the Late 90’s & Early 2000’s kiddie area or Toddler Zone, would be good for overall growth in the company as they move towards reintroducing indoor Playgrounds.

Maybe just the ones in Michigan would open chuck e. Cheese family fun center. Like Walker, coopersville, Sparta, Rockford and cedar springs locations.

I think it’s possible some Michigan stores would install a hypothetical Fun Zone, but I think it would probably be only in Texas and Florida 9and Maybe California) locations for 1 or 2 years (like 2.0)
