CEC is parterning with franchisees’ PNB Restoran and Unique Hospitality Company to have 3 locations in Istanbul, Turkey by the end of 2026. Future plans are to have 20 locations by the end of the decade.

CEC had help by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office to invest in the country, though undisclosed exactly under what terms or how much money was exchanged. Actually believe it or not, “Constantinople” was actually the former name for “Istanbul” back at AD 330. But however, scholars normally reserve the name “Constantinople” for the city in Christian period 330–1453, preferring “Istanbul” for the city’s name in later centuries.
