Salt Lake City had Dolli. Except

This Article Says Explicitly they will have Artie. And this can’t be Ogden because They mention it in the same Article, and the Article is from May 14th, Salt Lake’s Grand Opening Date as per the article were Doll is in.

I’m leaning on Dolli, as She has an image of Her, but I don’t know what to make of this. Unless Ogden had Artie maybe and they assumed Sale Lake would also have Artie but thats just a guess.

UPDATE: ARTIE WAS AT SALE LAKE WHAT!

My new theory is that Ogden’s Dolli was used for the grand opening poster. But IDK anymore this makes NO sense. Unless somehow Artie and Dolli existed in the same store on the same day at different times, then one has to be from Ogden.

UPDATE 2: Artie was Ogden?!? SOMEHOW

I thought the Artie pictured did look like Ogden’s cabaret room sort of. But this Article confirms it, Dolli is Salt Lake City, Artie is Ogden.

The Actual story was that Newspapers assumed Artie would also be at Salt Lake City.

This all confirms that

  • Dolli was at Ogden first
  • Then replaced by Artie probably in 1981
  • Dolli was then at Sale Lake City

Raleigh opened with Dolli

I’ll put this one here as I can’t reply

Rockville Maryland had Dolli.

This article also confirms that Chuck is an Enby.:transgender_symbol: :1001610647844442122:

Great work! Very helpful resource. Got a link to the No gender chuck article?

Here it is. I doubt it’s trying to be a canonical look into Chuck as a character, but it’s fun to make headcanons over newspaper text.

Memphis had “The King”/King Leon (Implying The King name was only a tagline name and not the character’s official name/or that this was around the name change).

It also explicitly says it Isn’t Dolli which is interesting. It also implies the store only had a cabaret or lounge and not both.

@CyberSnout, I posted the link to the Clip of the article. Just in case you didn’t see it or didn’t get a notification. Sorry if you’ve already seen it though, just trying to make sure it didn’t get obscured with the other replies.:1001610680618729472:

I saw the link don’t worry. I get emails anytime anyone speaks in this post

Daytona’s Little Shavers mentioned here. It is somewhat strange seeing the Ice Cream Parlor described with the Shavers. It gives a little bit of the theming of the rooms.

@CyberSnout HUGE DATA. Lists The Beagles, The King (The Prototype one) & DR QUACK under an early name of ‘Disco Duck’. This article is from Simi Valley CA, which confirms both that the King was meant for the store before being scrapped temporarily, but also that Dr Quack was also a test character, meant for further use.

It makes me think Dr Quack was a DJ character who would play ‘hit’ nursery rhymes, maybe as an alternative to the more adult Dolli & Artie. It also confirms the bot was most certainly made by Fantasy Forest.

I’ll ping @sudo-trans-pony as well as this is pretty interesting info.

Okay so after reading some more. The article implies Dr Quack wasn’t installed on day 1, for some reason. Judging by the wording, it confirms my theory about Dr Quack.

Simi also be Location 13 would actually most likely also make it’s opening before Fresno & Tucson (Which are listed on the every location chart as being opened in July or August; but may have been opened in October or later if this article is correct)

I also want to point out someone did clip the article prior, but only for the opening date, leaving out all the really interesting stuff. I wonder how much more of this is out there just covered by something else.

This other article confirms Simi is Location 13. Also mentions Cyber creation being to mass produce bots which is cool.

Also the article lists Simi’s opening date as September, and Was written in July, meaning either Fresno & Tucson opened early, were not planned yet (Unlikely), or Simi really is Location 13 and just opened a month later then planned.

Another article I found from May also lists the number as 11, which would be before Sun Valley opened 2 months later, making it unlikely they would call Simi location 13 if Fresno & Tucson were also opened.

NVM Tucson opened in September, they just messed up.

Wow! This is very useful data. Can you send the link?

@CyberSnout just in case, because I did reply a little later due to not seeing it. Sorry for that.

Pinole had Dolli and the first finalized King. It is worth noting this confirms the King Leon name was seemingly only the character’s canonical name, not the official early name at any point.

Modesto had Dolli in 1981. No other act mentioned, implying only a piano cabaret was present in 1981.
