The proper commercial has been released! The grand opening is also the 13th now. The AI ad has also been removed from stores (It has not been replaced yet). Reminder this isn’t a concession they already had this thing filmed by the 3rd.
Oh wow, I wasn’t expecting them to just remove the AI ad from showtapes lol. It’s good they’ve done that though, the AI advert was just embarrassing.
To be honest I don’t think this new ad is any better. It’s not got any AI genned stuff (outside, y’know, the entirety of the store art) which is a good thing, but, like, there’s not really anything to it. There’s no narration or anything, it’s just a camera going through the entire complex as kids play in it. I can’t imagine this being a TV ad, it just seems so lifeless.
Press release has been released on the Chuck E. Cheese website, and more AI World locations are being scheduled to open in 2026, oh boy I can’t wait!!!
Also I’m pretty sure this press release was written by an AI too lol.

Missed an article from a few days back, looks like our pal Randy thinks Adventure World is gonna hit 500-1000 locations someday. Either the bankruptcy is closer than we think or they’re planning to remodel every store again into an AI world.

500-1000??? Are they serious??? There is no way they’re gonna reach 1,000 of these stores. Not unless they remodel every other store like suggested, which I would hate. The last thing I’d want is for EVERY CEC under the sun to be flooded with AI art, alongside removing the arcade games of course.
Also, they posted the “renders” of the characters on Instagram and there are currently 28 comments on the page, but only three are visible. Hrm.

I got something to say: Adventure World makes me wanna get the Ultrazord and just blast the AI art already! Need ChatGPT to make your art for you? yeah? need AI to do everything for you??? Newsflash: NO!!!
As if discarding animatronics (and destroying them), ugly remodels, and making the prices so outrageously expensive that it nearly matched up with the excursion prices for a Magic Springs Season Pass (some things are expensive) wasn’t enough, now you need AI slop to cover your walls and even make 2 ads in the past year?? This company has gone down the drain like a Megazord’s power source failing.
This is especially sickening as a multi-fandom member and an OG CEC fan. Every chance I get a wish or something, I wish for CEC to be better or for me to 1 star their locations.
